This platform was built by education and health professionals, in partnership with 250 students.
Our comprehensive solution includes three versions: our self-guided student app, our educator platform for classroom use, and our health analytics platform for counselors & administrators.
Learn-SEL for educators
- Our browser version is accessible from any device
- Access Learn-SEL practice library, which contains guided relaxation and SEL practices made by health professionals
- Access Learn-SEL video library, which contains educational video series and stigma-reducing student stories that can be integrated into curriculum
- Do whole-class activities, assign activities to students, and track students’ completion rates

Evidence-Based Standards
School interventions are required to be evidence-based. Learn-SEL founding team members have 3 doctorate degrees and over 40 years of experience in clinical research. With help from our university and research partners, Learn-SEL has conducted multiple quasi-experimental studies. That means Learn-SEL qualifies for Tier 2 evidence under ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act).

Crisis Monitoring
Self-guided Student Accounts: For just a few dollars a student a year, students get their own accounts for access through our app and browser version. Each student gets an individualized mental health plan made by Learn-SEL, including guided relaxation practices, educational videos, peer stories, a practice calendar and health tracking. Students’ plans are updated every month.
Optional Health Analytics: Empower your counselors and administrators to stay informed with our health analytics portal. Schools receive a custom dashboard with aggregate analytics. Counselors can choose individual students to monitor and can even invite students to join Learn-SEL. Roles and data access permissions are dependent upon HIPAA & FERPA.
Optional Crisis Monitoring: Implement a 24/7 monitoring and crisis referral system. Students’ activity on Learn-SELis monitored and as needed, Learn-SEL will make real-time referrals to a crisis resource of your choice.
